人物简介

 

刘红荣,教育部新世纪人才,湖南省杰出青年基金获得者。潇湘学者。19733月出生,理学博士,教授,博士生导师。美国加州大学洛杉矶分校加州纳米系统研究所博士后。近年来主要从事冷冻电镜生物大分子三维重构、电子显微学、医学影像、图像处理等方面的研究工作,在 Science, PNAS, J Virol, J Mol Biol, J Struct Biol, Ultramicroscopy, Micron, J Phys等重要SCI源刊上发表学术论文20多篇。利用冷冻电镜单颗粒技术和图像处理相结合求解了首个人类腺病毒原子结构,这是迄今为止国际蛋白质数据银行中分子量最大的原子结构,被誉为"当代电子显微学的代表作""先进的纳米技术引导癌症治疗的新突破"等;首次提出了基于对称匹配函数的冷冻电镜图像处理新算法,目前该算法已受到本领域的广泛认可,国内外同行利用此算法求解了多个生物大分子三维结构,相关成果发表在ScienceNaturePNASStructure等顶级期刊上。目前主持或主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目2项,国家自然科学基金重大研究计划1项。
